Could you please help me interpret this guy’s behaviour?

The following situation happened: Coincidentally we walked towards each other in the corridor. It’s a top secret (shh) that I have a massive crush on him so when I noticed him I looked in his way. When he saw me we looked at each other for few seconds with a neutral face, but if I remember well his expression was kinda attentive. Then after less than half an hour we met again but I had a company (one of my colleagues) and when we walked past him he looked only at me, my face.

Are these signs of something attraction/flirt/interest or anything else? I’m really into that guy but I’m lack of confidence to approach him so it’s easier to suffer with a constant thought of ‘what if’ than make a move. :):)

Okay, thanks guys! I’m afraid I misunderstood his behaviour since I’m into him. Also I don’t know how to make the first move. It’s really frustrates me that I know his intentions (even if he has any) and I don’t know him so I don’t have any info how he behaves with others. I am so disappointed because I don’t know how to get in touch with him. I was wondering to add him on social media but isn’t strange when a stranger just appears on your profile out of the blue?

Hmm, it's kinda hard to say for sure since I don't know this guy. But a few thoughts:

- Making eye contact for a few seconds when you first passed each other is a good sign. Guys don't usually hold a look that long if there's no interest.

- The fact he looked right at your face the second time and not your colleague could mean he finds you more interesting to look at.

- Looking "attentive" when making eye contact is also a sign he may have been checking you out a little.

- My guy friends will tell me they don't really notice random people twice in a short time unless they think the girl is cute.

So from these little behaviors alone, I'd say there's a good chance he finds you at least a little attractive. No guaranteed way to know for sure without talking to him though. If you want to know how he really feels, you may need to muster up some courage and strike up a quick casual convo next time you see him alone. Flirty smiles never hurt either! Ah man, I feel your frustration. It's never easy trying to figure out if someone likes you back. But honestly, I don't think you misread the signals. From what you said, it does sound like he was checking you out.

As for making a move, I wouldn't recommend just adding him out of the blue on social media. That could definitely come across as weird since you don't really know each other. My advice would be to try talking to him in person next time you see him. Even if it's just saying hi and commenting on something simple like the weather or what class you have next. Get a conversation going so it doesn't seem so random if you ask for his info.

You could also try asking around casually to some mutual friends if they know him, what kind of stuff he's into. That way next time you chat you'll have something more to talk about than just small talk. The key is to make it seem natural and not like you're coming on too strong. Hmm that does make it trickier if he's always with other people. A few ideas though:

- If you see him alone for a sec like getting coffee or whatever, you could go up and say "Hey, I'm not sure if you remember me but we keep passing each other. I'm [your name]." Give him a smile.

- Next time in a group, you could wave and say hi from a distance so he recognizes you. No pressure to chat much with people around.

- Maybe ask a mutual friend/classmate who knows you both to introduce you, so you have an "in" next time you run into each other.

- See if your friend will set it up so you "happen" to be in the hallway at the same time alone somehow. Sounds kinda lame but it could work haha.

- Last option, just add him on social media but message him first to properly introduce yourself so it's not totally random.

I'd say the friend intro is low pressure way to break the ice. But don't be afraid to just say hey real quick if you get the chance too. You gotta shoot your shot sometime! Just be confident and see how he responds. Hope some of those ideas help!

If you are even half attractive then he is probably interested.
As for the looks he gave you, you have a crush so you are seeing things that may or may not be there.
Now my suggestion is talk to him, if you have a crush don’t waist time… let him know you are interested and see what happens. Life is too short to be shy… all you need to do is ask him out for a drink after work… you’ll know quick enough if he is interested. Good luck!

What I would do is this…. When you see him again tell him that a couple of friends are going out for drinks after work, would he like to go.
This is good because it’s not a date, it’s out with “friends”. But this will give him notice that you like him. It also gives him an easy out if he isn’t interested.
The issue here is if he says yes you need to hustle and find a couple of friends available to go out with.

He probably focuses in just because he recognizes you. But if you like him you should find away for something non comital, like a coffee date.

If you catch him staring a lot, that would be a positive sign.
