My boyfriend is upset that I followed a new male coworker on Instagram?

I am friendly with a new male Co worker, who I consider a friend. We got eachothers Instagram. My boyfriend is upset about this. Is he being unreasonable or does he have a point?

He has a point. I get women will say well men do this all the time following models, movie stars, etc, but the reality is that he will most likely never end up w these women. It’s a fantasy. You on the other hand have a better chance of ending up w this new “friend.” It’s like when couples say they’d give each other a pass if they met their fantasy man or woman. My girl would say something like Jason Mamoa. I’d laugh, say ok, but it most likely is never going to happen. Now if I told her Becky w the blond hair, blues eyes w big tits who works at our bank, that hits closer to home. She wouldn’t like that. You had more of a chance of that happening. I said friend in quotes because as a man, a dude knows what another man is trying to do to his girl. If she’s cute, hot, sexy, whatever it is, men will always try to befriend those women. Not because she’s funny, or we get along, or we have things in common. It’s because he wants to get between her legs, or something sexual in nature. So if you got in an argument w your boyfriend, he said something that hurt your feelings, who would you talk to about it? What about at work? Your friend who is going to side w you? Make you feel special? Be there for you so you have a shoulder to cry on? Things happen. You may not intend for them to but a lot of men play on women’s emotions, one thing leads to another. What’s more important to you? He should be your top priority. These are his feelings. I’m sure you’d want him to respect your feelings if he did the same. I’d never put myself in a situation like that where it made my girl feel uncomfortable. Most women respect boundaries when it comes to a man who is taken, a lot of me don’t.

It's not that he doesn't trust You, he doesn't trust him, men know how men think, it's why it's much more of a problem to men than women, women know how women think and most women respect relationships, there's many men out there that don't and it can cause a beef later on in the future, if that friendship is really worth your relationship, if it communicate with him and settle the problem but Im somewhat certain that if you decide to argue about it, it might end bad, your man should be at the top, even over friends, the truth is that most men don't friend women with the intentions to stay in the friend zone and men know this, it's why it causes more feuds between men than women.

I would be upset too. Do you know the kinds of things girls these days post to their Instagram? Put yoursef in your boyfriend's shoes. Would you like it if someone was fapping to pictures of your partner and eventually find out that they're hugging and hanging out together outside of work getting closer and closer? You may not think your cheating but you are.
