Why did this guy stop glancing at me for good when he found out that I was shy?

he used to watch me for a year (I’m sitting in the back most of the times) from afar but after he saw me being a bit awkward/shy with someone else he completely stopped and started focusing on another girl. Why and what does that tell about him?

Maybe he just lost interest in you, and it has nothing to donwith you being shy. I have never heard of a guy caring if a girl is shy before.

I take it back, I noticed him glancing at me when he thinks I’m distracted. However when he notices me looking at him from afar he acts like he doesn’t notice me and deliberately looks into the opposite direction
