I caught a guy I’m interested in staring at me from afar, but not that far to the point I can’t tell who he was staring at. It was clear he was staring at me because there was a wall behind me. Our eyes met and I had caught him staring, but he continued to hold it. No emotions visible. I broke the eye contact, looked somewhere else and then looked back at him to find out he was still staring at me. What does this mean? He always does this

He was staring at my face. And during the night he kept glancing at me. I eventually went over and talked to him. I don’t know much about signs, hence why I asked why he was staring the way he did

It went really good. He seemed happy that I eventually approached him. He was engaging, put all of his attention onto me and never broke eye contact. He smiled during the conversation and he asked questions. I mentioned that the bartender forgot my drink and without hesitation or saying anything, he got up and left towards the bartender. At the end of the night we ended up hugging each other goodbye, we never had any psychical touch so I’m assuming this is like a good first step to something
