Why I don't get approached by men in real life?

Question

Like the guys from my real life find me on Instagram and only talk from there LMAO and say they were shy and thought i had a boyfriend lol

Not to mention many dudes just stare and that's all they don't ever talk to me I don't know what this mean i am confused...

Work on being more approachable, the problem with a pretty girl is that people will assume she's either taken or uninterested. But worse, they assume you aren't their type especially if you present a bit more closed off.

So like others have said, smile in someone's direction. Be easy to talk to, or go for a different outfit. Because most people dress to look amazing, and that is perfect for a date or your daily life. But when you wish to get approached something just wearing a simple shirt with something on it that you enjoy works better because its a conversation starter.

My personal reason I almost never approached someone in real life is because the kind of girl I am after is rare. I can never tell based on her just being pretty. I have to find out trough other means such as us already having a conversation or me hearing something she's talking about that peaks my interests. And so far when I finally did meet an interesting girl in real life she was taken.

Perhaps they feel intimidated? I don't know, hard to say. I don't know what you're like in real life, but guys can be intimidated by girls just as much as the other way around.

Unfortunately, in today's society, texting has become a default form of communication for many people and they have become less inclined to speak one on one. Sometimes because their social skills aren't that great. But oftentimes guys see girls on Insta and get an idea in their head and/or fantasize about what she's like in real life, and the thoughts they have built up/created can prevent them from actually talking to her. Probably for the best in most cases.

But in real life, it's hard to say what might be preventing guys from approaching you. There can be several causes for that kind of reticent behaviour, but I'd need to know more context to say what it could be. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sadly, we live in a world when young people have been brainwashed into thinking that social media and texting apps are tools of communication when they obviously are not.  This is a big part of the reason you are not approached much. People are too scared, immature and socially awkward to step out of the little bubble they live in.

There are guys that will approach you, you just might remember when it happens because it’s not explicit or boldly done. I find many men play the long game with girls and prefer to reveal their interest gradually cause it gives them higher confidence you might dare them.

Try smiling, almost everytime I got approached in public, it happened because I was either smiling or looked very friendly. That or when I was in need of help, the guy helped me and then asked my number 😂

I am not usually in need of help, so mostly I get asked out because I smile and act friendly.

Modern males are too scared to approach women. I used to be myself but it was just me. Now the whole population is affected. Of course everyone is scared of being reported for harassment. You might need to be more proactive. It's easier for a girl to approach a guy than vice versa.

it may be your disposition turning them off. Girls tend to say guys have gotten lazier with approaching but I’ve noticed social media and apps have made a lot of women more callous and awkward in social interactions.
