Why is he afraid I will leave him?

The guy I am seeing has this tendency to get really close to me, thank me for spending time with him and so on. He knows I like him a lot and yet he won't disclose himself fully.

When I asked him why he is not letting me in, he said that he is scared I will cut myself off from him for good.

What is causing a person to feel this way?

Is there something I can do?

There are few guys who want to become a good person, and want to be observed a good person in the society

Eg : A genuine good guy, but his father has multiple severe criminal charges. He does not want society to know him by his father

Similarly this guy want to be good but seems doesn't want the other part to be disclosed

So just give him time and once he feels comfortable he will reveal you the truth. It may take 1 week, 1 month, 1 year or even at times 1 Decade

So just respect , support hik and make him comfortable
