He threatens to leave me, advice?

my boyfriend and I got into a small argument and he threatened to leave...he said that he's tired of me always acting out on him apparently and when I told him that I didn't appreciate his threats he seemed to back off and told me that he would contact me later if I wanted him to...he did and it all seemed fine but I'm really hurt and now I don't know if I want to stay with him cause of that...i just can't get over how he reacted I guess. what should I do :(

Yeah if you really want to see his ego break down, the next time he does that just tell him "okay fine, I guess we're done then". He'll be on his knees within hours begging you to take him back. Actually I'd just save my time and get it over with now, for your own sake.

yea I don't think he's serious when he says it cause when I expressed how I didn't appreciate how he was acting to me with his threats he at first was like he didn't care then after awhile he said that he would contact me later..and acted like nothing happened!

My first guess would be that he is kind of a clingy guy. Using little threats like that seem to be his way of trying to get control of the situation. I would suggest for you just to talk to him about this.

He can be clingy at times. Sometimes he acts like he doesn't care but I think that's just his cover at times...he told me that he doesn't want to talk to me anymore cause I "freak out on him" when I told him I didn't appreciate what he was saying at first he said he didn't care...then he changes to saying that he will contact me later...I feel it's just a threat and that he probably won't leave but at the same time it really hurts.

And I would talk to him about it but again he thinks I'm just freaking out when I have a problem with something so its like I can't even express myself!
