I remember when average, ugly, fat guys, etc constantly say how they got laid from a female at the bar, club, etc and my dad, grandpa, great grandpa, etc says how it was easier during their times as well. It became harder for average, ugly, etc guys to get laid around 2015-2016.

Maybe the prevalence of online dating. I haven't been clubbing since my 20s but I wonder if many women even go to clubs or bars now looking to hook up instead of just having fun and dancing with their girlfriends (that was still most of them when I was in my 20s, but there were still plenty enough looking to hook up).

As risky as it is to date online, at least people are sober there and especially women can probably get a ton of attention online of a kind that almost certainly supersedes was most women can get going to bars and nightclubs.

I think it is easier for men to get laid now because society is becoming more and more accepting of casual and low effort courtship leading to sex. The irony is now that sex is accepted by most of society, people have less sex than they did when sex was taboo and only done when you married the person you lose your virginity to. But if you mean get laid to somebody you're not married to, it's much easier now.
