If a guy makes jokes calling me baby, princess, and kinda like flirty jokes toward me. Are they how he really feels? I’ve heard that jokes are partly true but what do you think I’d that false?

Everyone uses humour in a different way. If a guy is using it to flirt then yes he may be hiding his feelings within a joke, as it’s a defence mechanism and lets him save some face on being caught out.

Some are partially based on truths, others are just complete fiction. Depends on the context and level of satire.
