Do guys ever pretend to be jealous?

My boyfriend of 3 years has never shown an ounce of jealousy over anything but the past few days he’s suddenly showing signs of jealousy but masking it with humor and it’s becoming constant. I’m uncertain if it’s just him pretending as a long running joke or if there’s some hidden truth to it.

Someone texts me, and he’s like “oh is your other boyfriend deprived of your attention”
Someone texts me multiple times in a row “oh who do I have to get rid of?”

I dress nice “getting dolled up to go to the store? Is your secret boyfriend going to be there?”

I stream gaming on twitch, and he always makes jokes about my guy friends being my fan boys and whenever I order myself something from DoorDash, he assumes one of them bought me something.

I mean, I know how to take a joke. It’s just polarizing since he’s never made jokes like that before and be this consistent with them. I don’t mind it, I just can’t tell if maybe he is feelin a little jealous or if it’s just really just jokes considering he’s never seemed jealous in the past and nothing has changed on my end. I just want him to feel secure.
