It depends on the definition of slut.

I never had any interest in virgins. I dated women who loved sex and were good at it.
I expect normal women to have had relationships. All my girlfriends were on the pill because they were experienced enough to appreciate unbridled sex.

I assume most virgins have religious or cultural issues that are incompatible with my own, are sexually inhibited, or think it is a way to entice marriage and guarantee an idyllic future. But I would never consider marrying or even dating someone who was "saving themself" for marriage because sexual compatibility is important.

However, if I knew a woman had a history of promiscuity, one night stands, and had fucked lots of random guys and strangers, I wouldn't be interested.

Then again, I honestly never asked a girlfriend about her body count or past relationships and none ever asked about mine.

For me, virginity has nothing to do with being a "good girl". A good girl is heterosexual, loves sex, wants a partner (potential husband), has self respect, healthy values, is monogamous, honest and loyal.

In the eyes of most men, good girls are for relationships, and sluts are just for casual sex. A potential good girl can be demoted to a slut, but a slut cannot be promoted to a good girl.

Some guys want nothing to do with sluts at all. Others will bang a slut if the opportunity presents itself, but would never be in a relationship with one. And some guys prefer sluts because all they want from a woman is casual sex.

Many women don't understand that just because a man is giving a woman attention, or "showing interest", does NOT necessarily mean that he's interested in having a relationship with her. A woman that men almost universally do not take seriously as a relationship partner will still get plenty of interest from men - it's just that the interest is strictly limited to casual sex.

Men won't be mad if a woman chooses to be a slut - and many will take advantage of it if she is - they simply would never consider her for a relationship. Actions and choices have consequences.

I disagree with only one thing that you said. Sluts can become good girls. Yeah they have a history. I get it and that history doesn't go away. But they can stop sleeping around and become a decent girl for relationship. Not saying it happens a lot but it does happen.

I'm not saying that no one is redeemable, but redemption is a long and difficult process that few attempt and even fewer complete.

Would you rather buy a new car, maybe even used w a few miles on it? Or a used car w high mileage? But w that high mileage also comes seat belts that don’t work, one headlight is out, it can’t pass the emissions test, etc, etc? Men only go after used cars w high mileage, some even low mileage for fun. When he wants something for life he prefers new, maybe some w very little mileage but most always w no mileage.

They simply aren't good for long-term relationships. Just as you have some guys you put in the friend-zone and other guys you have sex with, men categorize women into either "recreational use only" or "relationship material" and being a skut puts you in the former category for most men.
