What do I do if my close friend asks me to date him when I'm not interested?

My friend of 3 years asks me to keep dating him and tries to get me to say yes to him. He knows I don't like him in that way and still tries to force me to do so. It's frustrating cause he's 10 years older than I am and we are 2 completely different people from 2 different generations
