Is it possible to be friends with a guy who you suspect may have feelings for you?

I like spending time with him and he’s genuinely a kind, good person. He doesn’t hide that he finds me attractive. We have easy conversations because we’re both social and friendly. But there are certain moments where he’s staring intently at me that reminds me maybe it’s not such a good idea to keep being friends. Like when we’re out to eat, sometimes, he’s just staring at me. I think he has a fixation with my mouth and lips I don't know.

If it wasn't I would have any girl friends yet most of my friends are girls so clearly is possible. I get limerence pretty easy, and easily have multiple crushes so safe bet if a girl is my friend I probably crush on her too.
