He never said he wasn’t into me. I’m going by his actions. He never really asked me out much, took a while to text back sometimes. When I tried to discuss it he basically started complimenting me a ton and then said he knows I can find someone I’m more compatible with.

Sounds like you both need to communicate better. This guy wasn't right for you, I get it. But please remember this advice. Follow it, or don't follow it, that's up to you: NEVER assume you know what a guy is thinking or how he feels. It's a quick way to get us angry. Maybe think you know, but don't verbalize it or make big decisions in the relationship. At least talk to him and find out where his head is at.

That’s really really great advice. I think me and him are both really shy, or at least he’s quiet when he’s with me but for some reason seems more comfortable/loud when he’s with friends. It’s been hard to read for sure, but he’s mentioned he’s worried he made me uncomfortable before.
