Husband has body odor?

So my husband works a lot. He’s always busy and he sleeps a lot. This past weekend we have had some time together off work. Usually Every morning he takes a shower and heads to work. Well whenever he doesn’t have to work he will lay around and not shower for the whole weekend and he is a big dude so he sweats a lot. His sweat stinks ! It’s so bad that it stinks up the blankets and sheets and the whole room. He will just lay in bed smelling so bad !! I never say anything cause I know he works so hard. Any other day he does actually wash before work. But it frustrates me how he only washes up to go to work. What about just washing up for your wife? When we first got together he would always shower after work but the more time we spent together and got more comfortable with each other he kinda started slacking. Sometimes he’d acknowledge that he stinks and I can tell he’d be searching for validation that I still accept him. He’d be like I know I stink i from work but I’m tired I’ll shower tomorrow. I understand he is tired and now comfortable around me. But Isn’t it important to smell good for your spouse? He often wants head and sex but I can’t with the smell. How do I politely get him to shower without making him feel attacked?

Communicate with him. Tell him you love him and you appreciate him and cherish him and it would make you very happy if he could shower on days off. Can combine that with being intimate if you want.

Most people tend to have no clue that they smell bad, our nose tends to ignore our on body odor often

Just tell him politely
