How to deal with a bad texter?

He’s not a great communicator over text. Right now it’s a long distance situation. He told me if I want to write him that’s fine. Meanwhile, it’s like I’m holding an interview and I have to ask all the questions. Then, it’s like pulling teeth to get an actual answer

For example, he recently moved to a new country, and was very private about it. I had to ask two questions just to find out that he moved to ask country. Then he wouldn’t even tell me the city when I asked. It’s so bizarre. He can be closed at times, but it’s not that serious 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

I know he said that he doesn’t like texting when I asked him but seriously why even asked me to write if he’s not going to engage and I have to carry the conversation?

The only thing I feel like I can try is may be getting him on a video call if he is not too shy for that and that would be similar to in person

Sometimes you gotta think, he's not that into you. If texting is hard work, then sorry, but they just don't care.

A girl that can text well and actually hold a conversation is a diamond in the rough.

Yes, a good conversationalist seems to be a one in 1 million. Lol. I think he just generally sucks at texting , that’s why he said I can write him if I want to. Because he doesn’t even know what to say.

Hah, yeah…

He will engage more in person even I have to lead the conversation, but he contributes and shared about himself also.

Most people I would have given up on, but he’s a decent, caring human. He is also shy and seems intimidated at times, so that must contribute to the social issues. 😂😅

If he is like this, then don’t bother wasting your time. He isn’t interested and best to move on. Long distance is only going to work if both people are committed to the relationship.
