Why does this guy usually always asks me for a piece of gum at work we be working and randomly he will ask for a piece out of nowhere?

I noticed he be only doing it with me also like for instance today during work day he called my name and I turned around and he asked if I have gum I said yes than said he come on let’s walk together it was a short walk like why is he desperate for a piece of gum and also he can ask anyone else

Hmm that is kinda weird that he only asks you for gum! Could be a few reasons:

- He might just think you're the most approachable person to ask so uses it as an excuse to chat. Guys can be awkward starting conversations lol.

- Or maybe he thinks you're cute and asking for gum is his subtle way of finding an excuse to talk 1 on 1. Boys are dumb like that sometimes.

- It could just be habit now since you've given him gum before so he comes to you.

I wouldn't read too much into it, but if it bugs you maybe just say you're all out of gum next time so he finds another buddy! As long as he's not creepy otherwise I wouldn't worry. Could be harmless flirting or he's just a dork, who knows! Dudes are confusing.

If it starts feeling uncomfortable then let me know - but for now maybe see if he opens up more when you're walking together! Could lead to something fun.
