i reached out to a old high school teacher months ago last message she sent me months ago said i hope everything with me.

Dude, I get it. Getting depressed after working so many hours like that would mess anyone up. And people always say "reach out" but like, not everyone really cares you know?
There's nothing wrong with opening up about how you're feeling. Sometimes it's just hard to find people who will actually listen without judging. Maybe your teacher was busy or just didn't know what to say. Don't take it personal.
I wouldn't beat yourself up too much for talking about your mental health. That stuff is important. But next time try someone you're closer with, like a good friend or family member who will check in on you for real.
And don't be afraid to just do your own thing and relax too without having to rely on others. Go to a game or gym or whatever you like - find small things that make you feel better each day. Try not to dwell on people who didn't come through. You'll get through this bro!
I'd say talk to someone close to you like friends or family but reach out to professional help if you are feeling depression. Someone is better than no one.
i dont have friends i never had a need for them. i do live with my mom but she has her own problems.
This is tricky with men. Women can talk with anyone and be accepted, men cannot. Do you have access to formal counseling?
just curious why do mean not have the same
@lifecanbehard. Because the world depends on men being fully functional and dies not tolerate men who are seen as "weak". Not that you are weak, but almost all women and many men will see you as such if you openly admit to depression. First, have a conversation with your doctor.
guess i was never really meant for this word as i never cared if i looked weak
