Is the guy I'm seeing bi?

I 25F and M30 have been seeing each other for awhile, I saw him April 29th Monday and He tells me he put in his 2 weeks at his job and May 7th is his last day.

Monday (the 6th) evening he posted on his story that he's in Yosemite (which he did not tell about) with one of his buddies/family friends who he hasn't seen in 5 years and lives out of the country.

They went on a hike and he posted a photo of them laying down and he has this weird smirk on his face. Am I over reacting that they are on this trip alone together. I've had one instance where he told me 2 years ago that he was curious about swinging the other way. I had replied to one of his stories and he responded but then I had asked how his tent on top of his truck was because I know he hasn't used it yet and he just left me on read. At the time I was so upset that I had blocked him on IG and I didn't realize that it would unfollow him. So I re requested and he he accepted and refollowed me back within the hour which is unusual for him to be on social media that fast. I then messaged him on Wednesday and asked if he was busy this weekend and he said "Yep". Then I asked well what about next weekend, and he responded with "Not sure yet. Gonna try and hit the road again." At the point he was in Northern Nevada where he's from. He was posting today that he was at a local race track for something for his Uncle. What I'm realizing is that when he says he's gonna hit the road again, I thought that he meant he was coming home, when it really means he's gonna go on the road somewhere else.

For me it just seems like if one of my friends says that they are coming into town after not seeing them for years, my first thought isn't to plan to go somewhere 5 hours away for a couple days... Obviously I know that I will never know until he either tells me or I ask, I'd just like some advice or someone to vent to

Another thing to add that doesn't make sense is that on Thursday May 2nd he had responded to something that I had sent to him on Reddit... and he responded and had said "Yeah we can do that." Which was 3 days before he went on this trip with the other guy.

Hmm, that is really weird behavior from him. A few things stand out to me:

- Going alone on a trip with another guy friend he rarely sees is kinda suspicious. Guys usually hang one-on-one like that if there's something more going on.

- The weird smirk in the photo gives me a bad vibe too. Why smirk like that with another guy?

- He was dodgy about answering what his plans were, which makes it seem like he didn't want you to know something.

- The fact he was curious about being with guys before is also a red flag here.

I'd definitely confront him. Calmly say you saw his social media stuff and find it odd. Pay attention to his reaction and excuses. If he gets defensive, that's a bad sign.

Honestly dude sounds untrustworthy to me. I'd be rethinking things if I were you. You don't need that kind of uncertainty and confusion.

Let me know what he says when you talk to him! I'm here if you need support deciding what to do next sis. You deserve someone super clear about their intentions.

I think you are reading between the lines more than is there. There is nothing unusual about what he is doing. Just because you wouldn't go off on a road trip when a friend is in town doesn't mean everyone else won't. I could totally see doing that if my friends were in town. There is nothing more to it that wanting to do things with friends that I rarely see.

That does not mean he is not bi. I just don't see anything unusual about his behavior.

I don't know why it bolded... I just meant like if you were seeing a guy/girl and then you ended up meeting someone new, but that other guy/girl was messaging you asking you to hang out, would you respond if you were hooking up with the new person?

Another update is that I had asked his guy best friend who he has known for 10+ years and I asked if he knew he was with and he said he didn't know and I said doesn't it kind of look like they are hooking up? I met him in the summer of 2020, he reached out to me of course. We actually hung out for the first time around Summer of 2021. And then Summer of 2022 is when we started to hook up. We would hang out every weekend Friday night-Monday when I would go to work, we went to a NFL football game where we had to fly somewhere for the weekend. I met his mother and I spent 4-5 days in Northern Nevada with him (where his mother is) during Christmas-New Years weekend.

When he first got there, he posted a picture of the sunset and had tagged him in it. At first I was like oh cool he's camping with one of his buddies and maybe other people are there. Next day comes along, he posts that picture of them laying down on the top of the mountain and when he tagged him he made it really small. Thats when I started to get suspicious. Then later that evening he posted a picture of the guy holding a bottle of whiskey and his truck and the tent were all setup in the background. I then got more suspicious. Another day goes by and he doesn't post anything. The next day he was posting pictures of views and didn't tag him at all. He then posted pictures this morning of the camping site with their set up and the race track stuff they were at and didn't tag him. Just about an hour or so he posted a story of the camping friend talking to some other dudes and tagged him. Other thing that I've noticed too is that the camping friend hasn't reposted any of the stuff that he's been tagging him in. It's almost like he doesn't want his followers to see. When I'm with people and they tag me in a photo I almost automatically repost. But if I'm with people and I dont want other people to know I'm with that person I don't. So I find that interesting as well

I'd also like to add that he has always been kind of short and vague. He used to work a corporate job and kind of texts as if I was an associate. So I've come to learn that. Also I'd like to add that, on May 23rd I will be heading out to Lake Havasu for Memorial Day weekend and mind you his aunt and uncle are my neighbors. So I feel like since we'd see each other quite often during holiday weekends, he wouldn't do that? It kind of doesn't make any sense. Since he told me he wasn't sure if he was going to be busy next weekend. I am just going to ask him if he's going to be out at the lake for Memorial Day weekend, since he said that he was going to try and go camping again just a few days before the lake.

90% of me thinks, yes he's cheating on me. The other 10% of me thinks there's no way because nothing of the timeline adds up, like I said. Just 3 days before this "trip" he was saying we could try certain things in the future. And it's not to say things happen in the spur of the moment which I totally understand.
