Crush said no to dinner together this week but proposed spending afternoon cooking together next week? Good or bad sign?

I saw him yesterday and was hoping to see him again before he leaves for a long weekend in 3 days. I asked if he wanted to come over for dinner and he replied why don’t we instead cook together an afternoon next week?
