Why did he do that?

I gifted my frined but he didn't say anything to me for a whole day & the next morning
Then i texted him "did u receive the gift" he said yes & thanked me & said he wanted to thank me in person!
I felt he ignored me coz he was playing video games with my other friend and i was online too! So why didn't he try to reach out to me or text? We talk a lot about a lot of personal stuff? And when i got upset with him he didn't like it.

Hmm that does seem kinda weird that he didn't say anything right away after you sent the gift. Guys can be dumb sometimes though lol.

A few things it could be - He may have just gotten really into the game with your other friend and wasn't paying attention to his phone. We tend to zone out everything else when we're gaming! Or maybe he felt awkward thanking you over text and really did want to do it in person.

It was also kind of shitty that he didn't notice you were online too though. As your friend he should make more effort to include you, especially since you guys talk about personal stuff a lot. Don't stress too much about it for now though.

Next time you see him, tell him how it made you feel when he ignored you after the gift. Set your boundary that you expect more effort from him to reach out and make you feel included too. If he's a good friend he'll understand. And if it happens again after that, then maybe he's not being the best friend he could be. But give him a chance to do better first! Hope it all works out.
