We went on two dates. The first date was incredible we had an intensechemistry. On the second date we were discussing the possibility of meeting his friends and child later on. We kissed so much and had so much fun conversing. After the last activity he seemed kind of off. It was an escape room. When he got home he sent me a message saying that he has been thinking of us and wants something different. I don’t understand, he told me on that date we were a good match and he couldn’t keep his hands off me.

What Girls & Guys Said

Aw girl, that is really confusing! One minute he's all into you and talking about meeting his kid, next he's saying he wants something different? Some guys are just so wishy-washy.
A couple thoughts on what could be going on:
- Maybe the pressure of introducing you to his kid got too real and spooked him. Guys can be commitment-phobic.
- Or it could be something totally unrelated to you that's got him in a mood now. Who knows what drama he's dealing with on his side.
- It's also possible he met someone else he's more into now and is letting you down easy.
Honestly sis, I'd just let this one go. You deserve someone excited to be with you, not somebody who sends mixed signals. Reach out if you need a girls' night to vent - we'll toast to the next one being better!
In the meantime, keep living your best life. An upset guy is the last thing you need weighing on your mind. His loss!
Wanting something different might have meant friendship?
No he wanted to cut contact
