Is it odd that a man I hardly know went out of his way to visit Colorado solely to see me, without clearly stating his intentions?

He resides in the countryside and works on a farm. I, on the other hand, have a completely different lifestyle... We first connected on Snapchat due to my mistaken friend request settings, which automatically accepted all requests. While he seemed amicable, I emphasized from the start that I wasn't interested in a romantic relationship. Despite occasional chats, I never anticipated him flying out to meet me... You may have made it clear to him but in his mind, it was not clear enough. I thought that you may change your mind once you meet on a face-to-face basis and that you will progressively be infatuated in him.

That is unfortunately how a lot of people tick. They cannot take no for an answer and have to stretch it to the limit, hoping that they are able to change people's mind. I am quite certain that he will bring a gift for you, hoping to get a kiss in return.

There will be no thank you kiss. I'm very blunt and to the point kind of gal... He's divorced and doesn't know how to have a simple conversation. I'm afraid this may turn into a stalker situation.

When you meet him, make sure it is in a neutral place, far away and possibly in the opposite direction from where you live. Take public transportation, a taxi rather than your own car to get there because he might be tempted to read your license plate and find out the address, or then leave your car further away and make sure that when you separate after the meeting, you see him leave first before you go back to your car.

To be on the safe side, punch in 9-1-1 on your smartphone but don't hit the enter key. Should there be a situation where you need to call for help, all you have to do is to hit this "Enter" key. Also turn on the GPS on your smartphone. That would allow the emergency services to trace you. Should you have to call emergency services, leave the phone on so that they can follow the conversation and trace you.

Every time he asks me what I'm doing or if I'm available, I'm honestly am most of the time not available so I'm wondering when he will give up asking me to hang out while he's here.
