Backstory: He’s a close male friend for few years. We get on well and text almost daily. We hang out sometimes after work and will talk for hours. He put his arm around my lower back and waist at a party, but then very quickly removed it. It’s the first time he’s done that. It felt nice and I’m not sure why he quickly removed it. Boys- is this normal from a guy friend? TIA

I am the shoulder pillar for my male bestie who towers over me by a foot. So when he is beside me, he would wrap his arms around me and if not wrap, simply one bend arm on my shoulder and lean while standing.


Its the comfort level, does not co-relate with interest at all in my case.
