I think for the most part women's mouths cause this problem.

A mixture of dysfunctions. Most adults who find abusive partners had abusive parents and never worked through the trauma of that. Similarly, most abusers were either abused, or grew up in a household with abuse and also never worked through it even after learning it’s not normal or healthy.
Also, an unpopular fact of abusive relationships is that the vast majority of them are mutually abusive. So some women are getting smacked around because they started a fist fight with a man. Often with a man that they know will absolutely beat them. The mental and emotional dynamics of abusive relationships are fascinating to me.

Little boys hitting their sisters and girl peers and not being corrected by their parents or teachers, and grown men hitting grown women and children and not getting corrected by his friends or relatives or even police.

Pair that with little girls who get hit by their brothers boy peers and parents and are told that's just how boys are and they deserve being hit as punishment and their parents do it bc they love them, and grow up into women who let their partners hit them and know that if they tell their friends or family or even police they will not be helped.

That's the #1 cause. Bad parenting and enablers.

Sometimes a guy gets angry and hits. Just like a girl sometimes gets angry and hits. It's not good but it does happen. If it happens often, that's not good.

The men choose woman who are predisposed to abuse. They notice the weaknesses and exploit them. Mosr woman would not stand for it.

This is true. Abusers and "good victims" (often previous abuse victims) tend to be mutually attracted to each other. You put one of each in a room with 98 other people, and in 3 minutes the abuser and the "victim" will be talking to each other. The abusers quickly and instinctively recognize the behavioral signs that "good victims" have, and those "victims" are attracted to the same abusive men that abused her before, because they're "comfortable".

This is well documented by psychologists. It's terrible, but it's also very predictable.

Like any person male or female we all reach a breaking point, some people control their anger better than others. My wife had a way of pushing my buttons but I just walk away and don’t engage. Nothing is worth hurting the one you Love.

I think…ultimately control issues. Either a man or woman, usually from childhood, has confidence issues and thus needs to control their lover by every means. And it gets messy when they fight back.
