I heard her sing to love songs after she broke up with her ex, and later she talked about how some songs help her heal. And while I was sad for her during these songs, I had sung to similar songs for my own reasons. Now that she talked about her sorrow while aware of me being around listening (she told not only me that with friends around it was easier for her to process things).
As I listened to the songs I sang at the karaoke parties before I got to know her and heard of her breakup, I now thought I'd feel like inviting her to singing the songs which make me heal after what happened in my past. I never let her know because I read that this would make her feel friendzoned. But I'd somehow like to experience these songs while singing along with a woman I like.

What Girls Said
“Weird”? No, if he’s trying to just have fun or knows you have a good voice it can be a very natural thing. It shows they’re just fun loving people.
PERHAPS one or both might also think it’s a goofy-romantic thing, but it might not be the first thing to come to mind.
She said she'd sing such songs in order to heal, and the focus was on her about that. In my case the others only felt sorry for me because I chose to sing songs from Coldplay.
No, I like those songs anyway :)
But could that make her think he was interested in her?
Maybe. I wouldn't think much of it.
