Men: what causes you to be resentful and bitter as you get older?

I think honestly being resentful and bitter while aging is a human activity, it interests both women and men.
I can speak as far as I’m concerned, I tend to get bitter and resentful because I see myself aging: my memory isn’t good as long as time passes and I see my body isn’t as tonic as years ago. Other than that, I’m alone and solitude and loneliness can bring more bitterness to life.

Probably being lied to and backstabbed by too many people, realizing most people are selfish assholes that only really care about themselves , dealing with constant drama , and realizing drama is a waste of time. As you get get older , most people just want to be content with their lives and no longer want to tolerate bullshit

I was truly curious about what makes them this way, as they’re deemed to respond with logic and not emotion, right? To become bitter it means you’ve sat with resentment and anger for a very long time.. So, that’s why I was curious what exactly pushes them this way if they’re normal acting on logic? The anonymous guy danced around my question and tried to say I hated men. 💀

Yes, I know exactly the user you’re referring to.
I think the simple answer is that he hasn’t done much with his life. He’s also not been able to get with the women he’s wanted and now has a resentment towards women. Now with all of the free time of his wasted life that hasn’t put him in a financial position to travel the world or do anything interesting, he decides to be bitter online and probably in person too, but probably a lot more passive aggressively because he’d probably get his teeth knocked out if he said what he did on GAG in real life.
That’s my theory.

Wow that was well stated, I agree with you. It does seem like that’s the only reason behind why they’re so angry and nasty towards women. The guy I’m referring to if you ask any questions about men’s behavior (negative) he will INSTANTLY bash you instead of giving you insight or any sort of explanation. It’s funny and then if you “fight” back with him, he’ll turn it around and or get your comments removed.. It’s like he’s lost all of his power in real life and this is the only place he feels some sort of control. 😂 that’s pretty pathetic if you ask me.
