Guy is eager to go on a date with me but I don't know why, is this a red flag?

We never talked about anything sexual. He says he just came to the country last year and his only friend has a girlfriend so he’s pretty lonely but he still hangs out with other friends. I just don’t get why he’s so eager, I didn’t give him any expectation of sex. He’s literally begging me for me to come meet him

RE Your update, he's being too aggressive about seeing you -- and taking you to a setting where you'll be wearing little to nothing. Unless you're planning to let yourself get 👊🏼 👊🏼 👊🏼, don't go. There's no reason he's being so aggressive.

If he respects you, he'll take you for a simple dinner date or coffee.
