Why he only messages me when I post a new guy. Do you think he kinda likes me or am I tripping?

I met this younger guy than me during vacations at a liquor store back in my home country. He’s the owners son, graduated, travels mostly for soccer games and it’s being there since October 2023. My first break up a few months ago, he immediately sent me a text asking me if I had a date to go back and told me that he’s willing to make me company anywhere as long as let him know because on busy days he won’t have anyone to be at the store. He sent ask me to listen to a song and the songs says “i want to be the next one if you let me I won’t hurt you like that idiot” I thought it was in a friendly manner so I said thanks. Than now I posted a guy who’s my other ex and he immediately ask me again if I already had my tickets to go back because days before I told him I was going back for a festival.

Probably…. I would just ask him directly and see what he says. If you are into him then I definitely would ask and find something to do together as a date. If you’re not into him you can still just ask him if he says yes be kind just explain he’s better as a friend and maybe try to set him up with someone else.

But if I was a betting man I would say he is into you at least to a certain degree. Attraction can come and go…. So don’t wait too long. You never know when someone else could beat you to it. Then you’ll have to watch him with another woman and I assume the guys are exes for a reason.

In the chance he isn’t into you that way it can suck…. But you have closure and aren’t wasting your time on someone whose not into you. Wondering if he is, waiting for him to make the first move, etc.

So the question is… why hasn’t he made any thing happened? I don't know girl, guys like challenges… including when a girl is taken but who knows where his real intention is at if that’s the only time he cares to contact you. I don’t think he’s sincere if that’s the only point of contact time period and no follow through.

Rereading your question, I still stand on the same ground. But I guess given the fact there’s distance… not sure if he’s waiting for the time you guys can finally meet to make things happened. But hopefully he puts in more effort in contacting you to show more interest than only two times when you posts about exes. Maybe you can give more reciprocation when he contacts you to show more interest & so he knows.

You’re right. I mean with this guy is different because he met me in person. I was wearing comfortable/baggy clothes, drinking a beer in front of him and he’s teenage cousin while we were talking about businesses, school, and traveling. ☹️ He knows he’s younger than me. Lots of men even younger ones get close to me only because I look younger or close to their age. Long time ago after I came back we started texting and as soon as I told him I like to be by myself he step back then I posted something about meeting my ex but life put us together after 3 years and liked the story. When he asks me about my return he’s anyways saying how much he wants to see me again and somehow i feel he’s genuine. I mean like I said he doesn’t need me not even for a us visa because he told me he’s saving money to come to the states and I always see him traveling and going to the vips whenever he gets a chance. Why would he like me? I post memes, cooking videos, and acted kinda weird already on my posts (that’s my way to find if guys are truly interested and trust me oh lord only the real ones stay I do have low self esteem bad I’m realistic. I feel maybe he’s waiting for me to see me again or maybe wants me as a friend because we both travel when we can. Anyways

It’s okay, I get the same thing from younger guys cuz I also look young for my age. It seems like you both are still drawn to each other, so play it by ear and don’t be afraid to show interest :) hopefully it all works out, you guys sound cute. I’m sure he likes you for just being you.

I never asked this before and if I did it’s my decision to find new opinions😑 This just happened a few hours ago. How would I ask about it? 🙂 I have asked about a previous situationship who I never met in person and a guy who I met through social media. None of those are near this guy. 🤨
