Why is he ignoring me?

So I have been hanging w my ex for like 2 months now and we have agreed we are exclusive. We hang out almost every day and on the days we don’t hang we don’t talk at all. So this week he hadn't asked me to hang in 2 days which is fine but it feels like things are getting more serious so it’s starting to make me uncomfortable. Then on the 3rd day he texts me and says “how was school, sorry I’ve been busy this week”. And I told him it’s good and that I had a good day and asked him how his was. And now he hasn’t responded to me at all. This happened last night at like 7. But that night he also lost 400$ playing poker so I’m thinking maybe he’s just mad. Help!

Communicate with him. Tell him how you’re feeling about all this and see where his head is at too. Make sure you are both in positions to prioritize your relationship and keep it functional, otherwise this is all just biding time until you breakup again.

If he plays poker, he is a priori a loser and a very dangerous guy for relationships. Better not to have anything like that

He’s you ex, what did he do to become your ex. The worrying thing is the gambling and losing money. You really need to be aware if he is or potentially has a gambling problem.

So he’s not your ex anymore. Maybe he was just busy? I don’t know.
