So the thing is I really like this guy and we aren’t this close. But he is weird with me. He picks on me all the time but whenever I look at him he smiles and looks down, like he can’t handle the eye contact. Then I see him staring at me from across the room but he plus it cool. He looks either annoyed by my presence or attracted by me. I don’t knowwwww

It looks as if he has a crush on you but does not want to admit it and by picking on you, he kind of wants your attention.

Yes, in those early teen age, eye contact is difficult to handle because holding eye contact could also mean that he is challenging you.

By acting the way he does, he obviously indicates that you are someone that interests him but he is either too shy to go beyond that childish behavior or he is waiting for you to make the first move. But if you do, he will reject you because he is caught being a coward for not making the first move himself.

How does he make fun of you? In a malicious/nefarious way, or is it in good fun. At the end of the day if you’re into him and he isn’t a asswipe just communicate that. Don’t wait too long until someone else does, especially if you’re a risky person he may not ever do it
