Why do other men assume that you have a man?

I was out with friends and immediately this guy was just like oh you have a guy or something and I was like no no I don’t. Is it a vibe? Is it a aura? Is it something?

It does depend but I think a lot of people use that as a conversation opener because they’re interested but want to see if you have somebody first. In most cases I would assume that’s what it is other times I don’t know maybe he’s just being friendly asking a question, but I would say 9/10 he’s interested.

Maybe it’s because you’re very attractive they just assume but it really depends. But you know the attractive girls have to get a boyfriend at some point so.

Any attractive woman (and we aren't JUST talking about physical beauty here - personality/attitude/behavior is part of the equation) is usually assumed to be in a relationship - which was almost always true as little as 10 years ago. It's certainly not true today - social media and dating apps have completely destroyed the dating system. But that assumption is still made.

Think of it like this: how long is a $20 bill likely to stay lying on a busy sidewalk without someone snatching it up? Things that are desirable are normally pursued and acquired quickly. And if not for the massive disruption of online dating, that would almost certainly still be true today.

There’s a couple reasons. One is because most men assume a girl who is gorgeous probably has a flock of men after her. Most of us assume some dude has already scooped you up. The other reason is that it’s really a question he’s asking you more than a statement. By him saying that you’re going to respond w yes or no.

Probably because a lot of women aren't above cheating. I had a woman who was married come on to me. I'm not saying this is all women. But it is a significant portion on the population. Women used to be the keepers of morality. Not anymore! If you're a decent guy you have to do this and say, "no thank you".
