Trending & News It’s cowardly to block someone without just telling the person you don’t think things are working out you may choose to elaborate or not elaborate.
It’s not even having to face someone in real life and say this it’s literally over a screen…. I also don’t know what the mixed signals are you could have brought it up and asked him about it.
At the end of the day he’s blocked. It is what it is. You can apologize for blocking him and say it was immature of you but that I don’t feel like things are working out because I got mixed signals. I hope things work out for you…
If you feel in your heart guilty. Then okay…. You’re not a bad person. Take accountability for that and be mature. Maybe he was sending mixed signals maybe it was a misunderstanding
It is not cowardly to block someone. If you have decided that you are done with that person and moved on, move on. You don't have to write them a soliloquy detailing why you've decided to block them. Your time is valuable. It is not immature to cut off someone who is wasting your time.
@CallyKat89 if you decide you’re done you just tell them you’re done. If they don’t leave you alone after you ask them to yes then you block
@CallyKat89 no you don’t have to write a long exclamation and I can’t tell you what to do. I just personally feel it’s cowardly.
Now in your case you have a valid reason to but some people just block someone out of the blue to me those people are cowards
Well, without knowing any context, it seems kinda rash to block someone just for that. As hard as it may seem, you may want to consider having a conversation with him, with no mincing of words. It’s possible that he may have no idea that he’s giving mixed signals. Though, it’s very possible that he knows exactly what he’s doing. Either way, if you call him out, then that may change his behavior. He needs to clearly understand that you’re not gonna deal with that foolishness.
Again, this is without knowing any context. In short, I think you need to have a serious conversation with him; see what he does after that. If he doesn’t take the conversation well, then it’s likely time to move on.
You could ask him why he seems to be giving mixed signals first, if you want to. But ultimately, nope. It's your choice and if you think he is playing or will hurt you then better to do it now before he ruins your life.
nope people are wasting our time as it is...

I find blocking a bit extreme, but no, it's not wrong. I would just tell him that it's either A or B and if he can't choose, I'll just say goodbye. I always found blocking to be reserved for people I actually hate. Really don't want to see them ever again kind of thing.
Where is the context ? Where is the description of these mixed signals? Where is the description of your situation ? 😅
We're no magicians.
I guess it depends on what you mean by mixed signals.
Maybe he's not sure how he feels about you.
Or maybe he thinks that YOU'RE giving mixed signals, and he's not sure how he's supposed to be talking with you.
How bad are his mixed signals?
You can block whoever you like, it’s a decision that is yours to make.
True but it’s better to just tell someone you don’t think things are working out and if you feel like explaining yourself further you can.
It gives both of you closure. I only ever block someone if I’ve asked them to stop doing something and they don’t
@Summeroflove While I do agree that talking things out could work, in certain circumstances I feel like it’s unnecessary energy being used. Like when someone is just trolling or being a general idiot.
I would like to give people second chances, but there’s been a few on this website I’ve decided isn’t redeemable. There’s users on here who have me blocked and never offered an explanation, so I don’t see the reason as to why I should have to talk it out with someone if they won’t listen to begin with.
I get what you mean but I mean giving closure that it’s not working out and be firm with that. Then both people have closure
It’s just being the bigger person and just saying pretty much it’s done. It’s saying I’ve moved on and I’m not on your back burner anymore.
You’re not wrong. But I don’t like blocking people. It shows that you’re hurt. I prefer to ignore, not reply
It depends entirely on the details. What do we mean by mixed signals? How long has the situation been going on? What efforts have you made to clarify the communication?
You're likely doing the same thing, so yeah demand that he block you.
Nah, time-wasters should be wiped out.
Yes, blocking is never the answer. It’s like abandonment how can you get things organized and fix it? How can you do that when you’re blocking somebody.
You're not wrong but why not just ignore him. No need to block him.
Blocking is unnecessary. Just ignore him. Unless he gets really persistent, then block him.
That's kind of rude. If you are not interested then you can just tell him so if he makes a move.
Yes, doesn’t see like a good reason if that’s it , maybe you need to talk to them instead of just avoiding them in a cowardly way because that’s what blocking someone is basically
Am I wrong for blocking a girl playing "hard to get"?
That's a question you should answer @Cheriecoco
It’s better to ghost than block. Maybe they’ll clean up their act. If not, no loss.
Nope not at all. Dod you tell him he was giving mixed signals
You did the right thing.
No not at all better safe then sorry.
Block whomever you want.
Laconic to the max LOL
No I block them right away as well
No it’s good that you did
yes its a waste of ti, e
You do what you feel is right
Nah, block his ass
Mixed signals are red flags in my book
Nope!
Why block?
Not wrong..
😆😆😆
