Why would a guy be flaky with you?

If you ask a guy if he was still interested and gave him the option to just be friends, Why would he say he’s still interested but not talk to you for days then give you missed call out of nowhere and proceed to talk to you for a bit then ignore you for the next few days again? Why got back and forth?

Yeah well people loose interest but wanna keep someone on the back burner in case nothing else works out, being busy is understandable but someone genuinely interested would communicate that respectfully.

Some people also play games or feel they’re testing someone by trying to see if they’re genuinely interested but ignoring someone is a good way to cause somebody to loose interest.

I can’t read his mind but what I can do is make my best assumption that he’s loosing interest but is keeping you interested in case nothing else. On the other hand it could be that he’s feeding his ego by keeping girls interested as well. So he may be doing this to more then just you. Unfortunately some people do that mostly narcissists needing supply
