That's exactly what he meant he was trying to tell you if you can't go to sleep maybe you need a little bit of pleasure to make you go to sleep so he wanted to work together with you on that the guy sounds like a freaking creep... I mean he could have said it in a hundred different ways that might have been kind of funny or cute but like that was stupid... Here's the other thing if you get involved with a guy at work and things don't work out well usually what happens is one of you gets fired or quits so really think about it before you jump into anything...
