Why do almost all men I meet online just want to only talk in a sexual way or want to date like do they not know how to be just friends.

No, it's not just bad luck, it's a really common issue. People forget there's other people on the other side of that screen so they're encouraged to speak to them in ways they normally wouldn't.

There's plenty of single men out there who are desperate for anything so they skip straight to flirting and overtly sexual compliments, forgetting that it's better to be friends before dating.

On top of that, there's so many maladjusted people online in general, so it's little wonder you've struggled to find a platonic friend. I will not tell you to give up, just to be more assertive and to stand up for yourself. "Please don't speak to me like that" or just get really familiar with the block button on someone who won't even give you the time to prove you're human, too.

I have a handful of female friends who I could never see myself dating and that's perfectly fine with me. In fact, I adore it. Currently my best friend is a girl and I head to her house weekly to vibe, drink, or game. And then I have a friend on discord who I talk to sometimes and occasionally commission artwork to help her out financially. Mostly my conversations with the opposite sex are online and don't last extremely long, and that's okay, too. Long enough to get some anime recommendations or something before life calls us back to the real world.

I have not dated anyone in four years, mind you. I'd rather wait for someone I really click with, quality over quantity kind of thing.

Sorry, I know I ended up talking about myself for awhile there but I felt it was pertinent information. Men (and some women as well) simply need to do better when socializing online or IRL, and not see people as things to date, but friends to make. Dating is a potential evolution of a friendship if all the puzzle pieces align the right way.

And as for friendship most guys don't know what that is

Most guys would rather befriend you just to get into your pants

Where a true friendship is you have to be honest with yourself do I want to date this person for a month just to get into her pants break up and never see her again or would I rather not try to get into her pants and be her friend.

The women hold the cards and made the rules. if you don't like it, lay down the rules or shop somewhere else. Go to church, synygog, buddhist temple, or other avenues to meet people in real life. The people I know, are not like that, that I know of.
