Is my older friend sexually attracted to me?

Some time ago, I hit on an older man (I'm 26, he's 52) and I was rejected, he didn't want to cheat on his girlfriend (I didn't know he had one).

I handled the rejection like a mature person and we became friends. He has never tried to make something happen, we simply talk about anything in a friendly way, however, I've noticed he keeps telling me I'm undoubtedly beautiful. He has even asked me if I have ever tried to become a model: ''you're beautiful, tall, slim, and you have amazing legs, you look like a model! Have you ever tried to become one?''.

When he rejected me, he said he wasn't actually rejecting me, he said he didn't want to cheat, ''I'm not actually rejecting you, but I'm not the type to cheat.''. He says I'm his type when it comes to looks, but he's not totally sure I'm his type when it comes to personality, I'm a little too ''fierce'' in his opinion.

I'm genuinely happy to be friends with him, but I wonder what his behaviour means.

He doesn't wanna cheat, the behavior is pretty simple and understandable to me, but that doesn't mean he doesn't see your beauty, he decided to make that clear which tbh I wouldn't recommend him to openly share such thoughts but I guess he did and that's what you witnessed, basically saying that if he wasn't in a relationship, he wouldn't reject you.

So... you're basically saying he's tempted to sleep with me? I'm not trying to make him cheat, I want to understand if attraction is part of the reason he enjoys having me around.

Yep it seems thats the best way to put it so if I had to guess I'd say that he's keeping you around in case he changes his mind.

You're going to get rage and butthurt from younger guys that wish they could bang 26 year olds, and from older ladies that know that a 52 that's wanted by a 26 year old girl, is high value, so they get jealous because they want the guy. Or guys like him. Basic competition responses.

You're 26 what do you want a 52 year old man for? he'll be 60 in 10 years and too old to deal with a teenager if you want to have kids.

I think sexual attraction is shown more through body language compared to just what someone says.
