Why are guys less understanding about women's feelings?

This is just my POV. For one as men growing up, at least w myself as well as my brothers, male cousins, etc, a majority of us were told to not cry. That boys don’t cry. If you cried you were considered a little girl, not a man. I’m sure it’s like that all across different walks of life for men. So as men we’ve never gotten to experience all those emotions the way most women do. Usually about the only emotion we tend to express is anger. So w that said it’s hard to sympathize or empathize w girls on things like that. Too most men aren’t really emotional. Our hormones are different. Growing up I’d see girls cry over simple little things. Even as I got older, even now. It’s like w women simplest things can be the end of the world. Like really you’re crying over that. Then when I joined the military that just made me more callouses looking at men as well as women in general. I’d see men panicking over things that to me are nothing to cry about. Then it’s even more confusing because a lot of times things women do make no sense. I’ve read questions on here from girls who had no interest in a man what so ever. Then the dude met someone, moved on, now she’s asking why he left. You never even were interested in him. Turns out she just wanted the attention. Honestly I think men are more into trying to understand women’s feelings then women are w men. Women say they want a man who is in touch w his feelings, emotional, etc. But the minute he expresses something like things he doesn’t like about the relationship, or how she’s controlling or he doesn’t like when she goes out on girls’ nights, now she doesn’t like it.

Guys can be understanding, but we do require openness to be able to understand. If she's obscure about what she really wants and does not want to admit what she wants things can be confusing and complicated. Just admit it and were all better off.

Sometimes, they don’t get us. It hasn’t been my experience though.

Guys may not show their emotions as well... but inside they may understand but they do not know how to show it
