An incel is a male who, no matter what he does, no matter how hard he tries, just simply can't get heterosexual intimacy with an attractive woman. Unfortunately, a very small percentage of these pussy free guys are at risk of becoming psychotic and even violent against women, and/or the more desirable men who are preempting the sexless men from ever having any realistic possibility of getting any pussy. As far as I know, the ones who act out their violent tendencies are less than 1%, which unfortunately obscures the many positive aspects of the vastly increased likelihood of millions of men having to work harder to please the female.

The term doesn't exist. The correct term would be VOLcels. There is nothing involuntary about the delusions of persecution that they create in their mind. They are people who refuse any internal accountability for being completely undateable and blame women for that.

If they were smart, which they're not, they would band together as wingmen and step out together for education and research as they try to engage with women and then debrief how they could improve and where they failed. Help each other create engaging dating profiles. Go through wardrobes and see what's hot and what's not. They will never do any of those things because that would take a long hard look in the mirror.

Pretty much what Squatting Slav said. They're typically entitled, don't take accountability, and blame their problems on everyone else. But mostly women.

These are mostly generalizations but: young (sub 30), socially isolated, often but not always unattractive, angry and most importantly, engaged with the incel community. If your not engaged with other incels you're just a guy not having any luck with women so far. I believe incels didn't exist pre internet. Before that you were alone, now you can become part of a group.
