So you want a woman to feel less attractive? Every woman wants to feel beautiful. What do you think women should do to feel cute? It’s a fact that most women look better with makeup. You like celebrities who are rarely seen without makeup. Don’t blame women.

Because guys are watching porn and photoshop and teenage girls on TikTok. They are fed a consistent diet of what's "real". When they meet an average woman sans makeup, they think she is ugly because by comparison, she is. I promise you that if I took two photos and set up two dating profiles with the same information, I'd get more hits on one. The one where I am wearing well-applied makeup.

When I fix my hair and wear makeup, heads turn. When I don't, I get ignored. It's a fact. That tells me that I am more attractive with natural, subtle makeup than without.

Makeup is no different than wearing a sexy red dress versus a baggy t-shirt. If woman walked into a restaurant in a baggy t-shirt, guys would say she "let herself go" and wasn't "making an effort". And yet, if the woman wearing the sexy red dress got up the next morning wearing his baggy t shirt, he would think she was hot. It's context and relationship.

Ladies, wear subtle makeup. It's your sexy red dress, believe me. If a guy can't tell what your bone structure is when you're done, you overdid it and need to tone it down.

To put it in comparison, guys saying "no makeup" is the same as women saying they only care about what a guy is like on the inside, and looks and income don't matter...

Men don't even know what makeup is half of the time. They'll look at a woman with a full beat (color corrector, concealer, foundation, mascara, brow pencil, powder, lip gloss, highlighter, blush and contour) and say that she's a "natural beauty" just because her makeup was skilfully applied and they can't tell she's wearing any. They can basically only tell a woman is wearing makeup if she goes all out with the false lashes, eyeliner, eyeshadow etc (like the examples you provided), and suddenly that's "excessive" when it's just 1-2 products more than what the "natural beauty" is wearing. :D I wouldn't take men's opinions on makeup too seriously, they don't even know the difference between mascara and eyeliner.

I personally love girls wearing makeup, even if it's just some lipstick/ lipgloss. The answer to your question and the only thing that comes to mind is some or many men are probably a little insecure. Maybe justified sometimes but mostly not, she gets enough attention dressing up and yet with makeup men will look and approach. So the point is, when you meet a potential boyfriend, make him aware how he met you is how you present yourself. If he doesn't like this and you furthermore wish to dress up and put makeup on then you are not for him. Unless you are willing to change or compromise like a cousin of mine who married a Muslim and completely covers up. I think you should lay the cards on the table straight away.

First 2 examples show a more attractive person without the makeup, and a fake rubber clown with excessive cakeup, especially the very first example. In other words, first 2 people + without makeup = smash. But with makeup = pass. ﾠ

The next two, they look retarded either way. Pass with and without makeup. Makeup doesn't remove man-face, protruding browridge, etc.

Misuse of makeup makes people look retarded, is what I'm saying. It can be used to improve, it just isn't always the case. Makeup is extremely useful for older cougars.

I simply prefer women that don't wear makeup. When women wear a small amount of makeup, it sometimes makes them look better, but I don't recall ever being attracted to the amounts of makeup in the 1st and 2nd photo. They look like clowns to me and I don't want my wife to look like that.

I always knew I was primarily attracted to a woman's fit body, so when I saw excessive makeup, it seemed like ridiculously misplaced effort given that: 1. there is only so much they can do to make themselves look better in that department and; 2. most were making themselves less attractive to me. I just saw a lot of those women as lazy since they could've significantly increased their attractiveness by just exercising.

I prefer the natural women in all the photos above. Something about them not wearing makeup makes them look more humble, which is very attractive and rarely seen by me in the west. That first woman especially without makeup is VERY attractive. I remember being in high school seeing girls that had this type of natural look and I found them extremely attractive.

When women don't wear makeup, their faces flow better with their bodies, which is very appealing sexually. This makeup arms-race looks detrimental to women since; their partner may be initially attracted to the makeup look meaning the woman looks less attractive when she removes the makeup, which is obviously not ideal. I also feel like some women are using this as an excuse - a lot of them are actually competing against other women to find what women think is the ideal female look. It seems this leads them to get better at things that do not benefit their attractiveness to men (even though the underlying goal was most likely to get male attention).

This is strictly my opinion. I have friends who claim to prefer this makeup look.

It doesn't matter if it makes women look better. Guys still don't like it. In other words, guys don't want her to look better if that's what it takes to look better.

Just keep herself clean and healthy looking. Throw on a smile, and she's good to go.

And for the record, each of the first three pictures look BETTER without makeup. That first one with makeup is absolutely horrid looking. The fourth picture looks slightly better on the left, but that is probably because the picture on the right is just a terrible picture.

I'm glad I came of age during a time when makeup was not much of a thing. Most of the girls I dated wore no makeup at all, or at least very rarely did.

It's because for most men, AUTHENTICITY is far more important than beauty (unless it's just casual sex). Of course we know you can make yourself look better with makeup, but we also know that's fake. Women completely embrace fakeness (makeup, eyelashes, nails, botox, injectables, implants, etc.) on their quest for beauty, but men want NATURAL and AUTHENTIC. But no matter how much we express this, women always choose fakeness - in part because you are always being advertised to and you love spending money on yourself, but also in part because you know it's a cheat code to get attention. The problem (for most women) is that this attention is NOT "relationship attention", it's only SEXUAL attention, and sexual attention rarely gives you what you really want.

Well the thing is, it's a form of manipulation. You are changing your face to make yourself look more appealing to the opposite gender, and that leads to a lot of guys feeling like they were cheated when they see you without it and you look COMPLETELY different. And as far as don't blame women, that's not accurate. See nobody forced you to put makeup on, you chose that for yourself. I find some makeup on some women to be somewhat attractive at times.
I find makeup to be very "hot" on some women at times, as well.
Sometimes, makeup is rather hideous.

The selection and application of makeup is, to me, an artform that some women seem to be able to master more easily than others.

There are, admittedly, some women who are naturally more physically beautiful to me than others.
That is strictly my perception, though.
Another man may disagree with my perception of physical beauty.

You're telling *me* what *I* want? I'm pretty sure I'm in a better position to know that than you are. What I want is for you to accept yourself for who you are, not put on a facade that you pretend is for me but is really for you.

I want you to do whatever *you* want to do; and if wearing make-up is what you want to do because it makes you feel better about yourself, then do it. But it may be worth asking yourself what you dislike about your natural appearance and whether you're just being too hard on yourself.

Jus know that I happen to think that women typically look better *without* make-up, regardless of what pop culture has conditioned you to believe. I much prefer authentic beauty to manufactured beauty, and I want any woman I wind up with to enter the relationship as her authentic self and not some fake, made-up Barbie Doll.

Using makeup to feel better about oneself can be a positive thing, but at what point does a person need to be honest with themselves? If makeup is completely altering who you are, and you’re comfortable with that, it might suggest some inner conflict. In our world, women are often viewed as objects based on beauty, but when statements like, 'If you don't want to be judged for your body or looks, stop buying clothes meant to show off the body and makeup meant to hide the body' are made, some are quick to blame men, often citing exaggerated reasons to prove that men are at fault. wearing make up is not the issue. The problem is that it then gives you a false sense of value on the sexual market place. You have a woman who is a 3. She puts on makeup and she's a 6.
