Why do people spread toxic rhetoric on social media like "all men cheat" when in reality that is not true?

Because I read a statistic the other day that 60% of men cheat. If this is true (based on what I know of women) it's probably the largest portion of men that women choose.

So I can see how at least from thier (women's) vantage point it looks like all men cheat. Because those women are probably only exclusive dating the guys that cheat.

Maybe women who say that got cheated on and therefore think that "all" men are cheaters.

Same reason why you'll see people say all women are golddiggers. Answer: people can be stupid. Mass generalizing is usually a trait of people with low intelligence.
