Why do many guys not talk about themselves a lot? even to the girl he likes?

Honestly because there’s not much to tell. A lot of us don’t need approval or attention. Women like to brag they can make their own money, be independent, pay their own bills, etc, etc. But guess what that’s what adults do. Not only that women really don’t listen. It’s more about their happiness. I don’t need to come hime everyday and tell my girl about my day, especially if things were a mess. Women on the other hand always seem to want to talk about everything that affects them. Women seem to like being the center of things. The main character syndrome in a story, men not so much.

I was wondering how you suggest getting to know a guy when he doesn’t really talk about himself? I just feel like I know nothing about him. I ask questions but it’s really simple and short answers.

It might just take time. I think you’d learn more about him by hanging out w him. Men aren’t that enthused to talk. The only time a man will talk a lot is if he’s feminine, not all but a lot.

I can't speak for every guy out there, but I know that for me, it's because I genuinely don't know what to talk about. I'm around me every moment of every day. I don't find anything I do or am to be interesting, so it doesn't seem relevant to talk about.
