We aren't blood but he is close to the family from my uncle's ex wife... I've known him forever... we never really spoke but he's always been cool with my cousins and they've been cool with him... I've used to have a major crush on him growing up (a kid)... he's 3 years older... but it was weird because we are considered family

And I've followed him before until I deleted my instagram... and he followed me back... he's also liked a pic or two so I don't understand

He doesn't owe anyone anything, your feed should represent your life and who you want in it and who you want influencing your day. A lot of people clean out their friends list for this reason. It's very normal.
