My boyfriend doesn’t want to show me his phone?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a while however I have some valid reasons not to trust him so I ask for him to show me proof he’s not talking to other women however doesn’t want to show me but keeps reassuring me that there’s nothing to show, I 100% doubt there is something going on or else why not show proof?

His defensive behavior is somewhat alarming, if it wasn't a big deal and you were overthinking then I don't see why showing his phone was such a big deal as a trustful and loyal partner that is, it's behavior of someone with something to hide, what that may be can be anything.

The smart kind. You aren't being honest with yourself. You won't ever trust him, and on and on it goes. What exactly do you mean by 'work on it'? Try to change him? I've seen this movie so many times.
