Would the text that I sent to my man be a good text for a guy to receive?

Let me preface with my man, and I were in the same town then it turned long distance. I have not received a text from my boyfriend for an entire month. I texted my man on the daily. Sending how are you’s to check on him, prayerful good mornings, and nights, videos of me cooking, trying on clothes. All of this just for my man, only to get no response from him. I truly wanted to know that my man was okay. Thus I called on the phone, and he ain’t answer. So last week Sunday I called him again from a different number. He answered the phone. I asked how he is doing. He said he was doing good. Then he asked who is this, once I said it’s sweet pea he hung up the telephone.

Now today my brother in-law just asked me “how is your friend is doing?”. I was unsure if my brother in-law was asking after my boyfriend, or one of my girl friends. Once I knew he meant boyfriend, I responded “he is doing good.”

However, I be feeling awful for saying that as my man has not told me how he is doing. That is since he hung up the phone a week ago. I often be getting quite uneasy talking with my brother in-law about things as he is noisy. Thus I always desire to be straightforward, and honest with my man when others ask about him. I felt awful not knowing how my man is doing. I asked him a couple times this last week, and received no reply. I thought I will text him immediately about the conversation, and ask how he is. Seeing as I would love to know whether, or not he is still doing good.

Guys would this text below that I just sent to my man be a good text you would want to receive?

“Baby, My brother in-law just asked me “how is your friend is doing?”. I was unsure if my brother in-law was asking about you my boyfriend, or one of my girl friends. I responded he is doing good. Though, I felt awful for saying that. Quite honestly I did not know what to say about how you are doing. I have no clue how you are doing.

How are you doing baby?”

Just to clarify my boyfriend, and I long distance is due to his being away for work sometimes. I should not have prefaced my question the way I did. I am genuinely concerned when my boyfriend goes quiet. Although, I am understanding of his work schedule, and his life happenings (I ain’t feel I should mention here). Which the reasons I am understanding of his quietness.

Just wondering if my family be asking about my boyfriend. Should I tell him they are asking, and is what I text a good text?
