I have been noticing this guy around work. He works in a different department to me and sometimes when we made eye contact, he would smile and hold his gaze. I would always be the first one to break eye contact. I eventually said hi to him and after that, he ignored me and avoided looking at me, like actually turning his head in the opposite direction.
Recently, he has started saying hi to me (he is the first one to say it) and I plucked up the courage to have a proper conversation with him, where I introduced myself.
The whole time, he had a big smile on his face and was fidgeting and moving closer towards me. He asked where I work and I told him which department and what time I finish. He said twice that he would have to come and check out my area.
The same day, my colleagues said they saw him walking past our office (10 mins after I left) and glaring into the office the whole time. And I’ve never seen him near our office.
Today, we said hi twice and the second time, he gave me a big smile when he saw me. When I was sat down in the canteen, I could see his reflection in the window and it looked like he was looking at me/in my direction.

Hmm, it does sound like this guy from work might have a little crush on you! The way he reacts when you make eye contact, the big smiles, the fidgeting and trying to get closer to you - those are all pretty classic signs that he's into you.
The fact that he keeps making excuses to come by your work area and seems to be lurking around after your shift is also a pretty telltale sign. It seems like he's trying to find ways to be around you and catch glimpses of you.
Now, the avoidance and ignoring you part is a bit confusing. Maybe he gets nervous or shy when you actually try to talk to him one-on-one. Or maybe he's trying to play it cool and not let you know how much he likes you. Either way, the other behaviors definitely point to him having a crush.
I'd say your best bet is to keep being friendly and open when you interact with him. Don't be afraid to initiate a conversation or ask him questions. See how he reacts. If he continues to get all smiley and flustered, then it's a pretty safe bet he's into you.
Just be careful not to lead him on if you're not interested. But if you do like him back, maybe drop some subtle hints and see if he works up the courage to ask you out. Either way, it's a pretty flattering situation to be in! Enjoy the attention, girl!
Yep... Ask him out, kiss, fall in love and make babies ❤️💪
Probably.
