Do men lie about wanting serious commitments, just to get sex?

I got hit on by a group of about four guys I used to know, they’re friends of some friends of mine, after telling one of them years ago that I used to be a party girl and a bit wild.

One said he didn’t want anything serious, the other three claimed to be interested in relationships, only; but I noticed that two out of three of the guys claiming to want relationships disappeared after I showed interest in getting to know them better, as people first, as their profiles indicated.

Were they lying, trying to get a shag?

I'd normally say men are straight forward in what we say is what we mean, but when it comes to sex if we want to get into your pants then we will say what we think you want to hear.

Unfortunately what that means is we may give all the indicators we want a relationship but things turn into a one night stand and a broken heart.

Obviously I have to spell this out to you in really simple terms. I know that I’m not irresistible to all men, just because I’m pretty and have a good personality. I never said that these guys are gay, that they all want me, or that they all don’t. What I was doing was ObSERVING the fact that A GROUP OF GUYS hit on me. I WANTED TO KNOW if ANY OF mentioned guys were possibly GENUINELY INTERESTED, or whether they were DESPERATE FOR SEX. I do assume you know what sex is. But I could be wrong.

Yeah, I misread your question. Sorry. So I'll try to answer your actual question. It's really hard to say because a lot of guys don't really know what they want with a woman until they spend enough time with her to get to know her.
