Men, do you like it better when a girl is dress up or in casual comfortable clothes?

Normally I dressed up, but I have been so exhausted with school burn out… I started to wear more casual comfortable clothes and minimal makeup or no makeup when I am out lately. I was really surprised to see I still get checked out or starred at by really attractive men when I wasn’t trying to look nice.

I can't answer properly because what I, personally, perceive as dressed up is not necessarily matching a girl's perception of what is dressed up, if considering, on top of that, variations and differences due to socio-economic and socio-cultural aspects behind the scenes... Then it gets much too context-dependent for me

Plus, it's not as if I could treat clothes as a separated/contained element of attraction, it would be an unrealistic attempt at intellectualizing, since I perceive attraction as the whole thing instead of a sum of distinguishable elements

It depends on the venue or outing requirements. Most guys are fine with casual the majority of the time. Unless you're looking for a guy who also likes to dress up everyday, then you should just go with what you would like your personal, "default look" to be.

Couple weeks ago, I wore this cape coat and two piece with black top & skirt with over knee boots… I was walking through campus and even this UPS truck drive pass by telling me how much he yelled out how he loved my boots with my fit 🤣

Suit yourself and attract a man who is happy with that. We don't care about clothes nearly as much as women imagine. If we can get some idea of your figure it doesn't matter if you are in a dress and heels or a tee, jeans, and sneakers. The only turnoff is shapeless clothing.

It's your body shape perhaps and those heavenly boobs in casuals the dress might be taking your body shape and lines visible and you catch a guys attention.
