Why do guys say “yeah we’re good” but then ignore you?

What does it mean when a guy says yeah we’re good -we’re still friends and then proceeds to leave you on read or ignore you?

He means you guys are cool but it doesn’t mean you’re the same. You’re eager to return to normalcy but that may not be on the table anymore. Sure he could’ve been upfront but often times people don’t want the confrontation and instead with avoid or ghost.
