Why do some guys talk down to us?

Like it’s so annoying. I feel like a child being told what to do or how this works like I’m not a fully grown who knows what she’s doing.

His heart is in the right place but why the immediate assumption I don’t understand x or y and need it explained to me? Is it a subconscious thing for guys? A societal Remnant that is still ingrained into their psyche from when we were more naive to the world around us?

When explaining something to someone , you need to assume they know little about the subject , that does not mean you are " talking down " , it means you are explaining the issue ( whatever that is ) in detail..

Now , its different of course if you " know they know " , that's just being rude , so its not purely " guys " in general speaking down , issues need to be explained correctly and in detail.

there's a difference between talking down on someone or giving constructive criticism, the difference is that one comes from a place of love and care and the other comes from hate, hard to say anything on this cause i dont know both sides or even on whats going on

I do feel it’s a subconscious thing or how we was raised maybe. Usually traditionally guys are feeling they need to be in control and think they know how everything works which is not true because I know some women might know more tan men. Also I think women are perceived naive in the world and always need a man to help them
